This is a new project I am working on. I take an original photo of mine, mount it on foam core, and "paint" over it with oil pastels. Then for the finishing touch a photograph the finished piece in macro for a whole other set of photos that resemble more of a oil painting. Mixed media on another plane.

- As all photographers great and small, I love the idea of capturing the world as I see it. And as most personal views go, some may agree with me and some may not. I have delved into different photography, macro, portrait, weddings, travel, and find what I love most are those organic moments of beauty that pass through my lens. A child that poses uninhibited. A laugh or frown caught unawares. A tree grown in balance. A love caught. The way I catch these moments may or may not agree with your senses. But the idea that you can become close to someone in a photo you have never met amazes me. And through my gallery you will be able to not only see the world through my eyes, but hopefully, glimpse a bit me of as well.
